Reaffirming its dedication to Coral Gables, the Board of Directors has announced that this year’s Annual Official Miami Art Week Kickoff Party™ will take place at the iconic Biltmore Hotel, a designated Historic Landmark of historic glamour and Mediterranean revival architecture. Scheduled for Monday, December 1, 2025, the event will serve as the official opening reception for one of the world’s most celebrated arts and culture gatherings.

Prior to the Kickoff Party at The Biltmore that day, Miami Art Week will host thought-provoking panel discussions exploring topics such as Sustainability & the Arts, The Business of Art, and ARTificial Intelligence & Generative Art (topics subject to change). Guests can look forward to an evening honoring art, artists and photographers, highlighted by an exclusive VIP Vernissage.

ART CORAL GABLES™: A New Chapter in Miami Art Week’s growth

Miami Art Week is excited to announce a further expansion of the world-renowned arts and culture Festival, the largest Art Week in the world, into Coral Gables.

In 2024, Miami Art Week extended its cultural footprint into Coral Gables, The City Beautiful with its Kickoff Party held at the Coral Gables Museum, signaling a sophisticated expansion into one of South Florida’s most architecturally elegant and culturally rich neighborhoods. In 2025, this expansion deepens.

To mark this evolution, we’re proud to introduce Art Coral Gables, a branded cultural experience that embraces the decentralized art fair model. Drawing inspiration from the Venice Biennale and Les Rencontres d’Arles (France), Art Coral Gables will transform the entire city into a stage for contemporary art, where each venue, whether a gallery, museum, hotel, boutique, or pop-up is part of a cohesive yet diverse artistic ecosystem. Our plan is that art and photography exhibitions will be placed throughout Coral Gables in a wide range of public and private spaces, activating the city with a curated yet accessible presence.

This is not simply an extension of Miami Art Week; it is the beginning of a distinct identity, one that celebrates Coral Gables as both a canvas and a collector’s destination.

As before, it’s a unique opportunity for individual artists and photographers to participate and exhibit directly during Miami Art Week. Speaking of photographers, photoMIAMI will be back to join Arte NXT at the Miami Art Week Gallery in Wynwood.
This year, an expanded schedule is planned from Tuesday Dec 2 to Sunday Dec 7 with later closing hours and immersive programming throughout the week.
Art and photo exhibits will be curated by the internationally recognized Lelia Mordoch Gallery (Paris & Miami) and there will be an amazing collection of works this year. Applications are now underway and spaces are limited. Secure your place among a select group of emerging and established artists and photographers this December.
