Dedicated exclusively to contemporary photography, the Official photoMIAMI® Digital Exhibition extends photoMIAMI® and Miami Art Week™ to photographers and audiences worldwide. The professionally curated exhibition presents exceptional work by emerging, mid-career and established photographers across fine art, documentary, portrait, landscape, street, conceptual, experimental, digital and emerging photographic practices.
Selected photographers receive the designation of Official 2026 photoMIAMI® Digital Exhibition Photographer and the opportunity to present their work to collectors, curators, galleries, publishers, museums, media and an international audience through the growing Miami Art Week and ARTWEEK™ platforms.
Participation is designed to extend beyond the exhibition itself, creating ongoing opportunities for discovery, artwork sales, licensing, editorial and artist features, professional connections, and consideration for future ARTWEEK™ exhibitions and programs in Miami, New York and Los Angeles.

photoMIAMI® is an official Miami Art Week™ exhibition produced and managed by Miami Art Week, LLC. Dedicated exclusively to contemporary photography, the exhibition showcases exceptional emerging, mid-career and established photographers in a professionally curated gallery environment during one of the world's leading annual celebrations of art and culture.

Applications are open to photographers, photography galleries, artist collectives, curators, nonprofit arts organizations and other creative practitioners presenting original photographic artwork. Gallery representation is NOT required.

Yes. photoMIAMI® welcomes applications from emerging, mid-career and established photographers worldwide. Applications are reviewed on artistic merit, originality, technical execution, presentation quality and overall fit with the exhibition, not career stage.

No. Independent photographers are encouraged to apply. Gallery representation is not required.

Yes. AI-assisted photography and AI-generated photographic artwork are welcome, provided their use is disclosed. Applicants must own or possess all necessary copyrights, licenses and permissions required to exhibit the submitted work.

Applicants may upload up to six (6) images representing the work they intend to exhibit if accepted.

No. Submitted images are used during the curatorial review process. The final photograph(s) exhibited will depend on the exhibition space selected and the overall curatorial plan.

Tier I exhibition spaces include approximately five linear feet of professionally curated wall space, typically accommodating one larger framed photograph or two smaller framed works. Optional upgrades and premium exhibition locations may also be available, subject to availability.

Yes. Depending on the dimensions of your work and your exhibition space, many exhibitors display two or more photographs. Final placement is determined by Exhibition Management.

Yes. Exhibitors retain proceeds from artwork sales unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Yes. Photographers retain full ownership and copyright of all submitted and exhibited photographs.

Submitted images may be used by Miami Art Week™, photoMIAMI®, and the ARTWEEK™ platform for jury review, exhibition administration, marketing, publicity, websites, social media, catalogs, educational programming and archival purposes as described in the Terms & Conditions of Participation.

Applications are reviewed through a competitive curatorial process based on artistic merit, originality, technical execution, presentation quality and overall fit with the exhibition.

No. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Accepted applicants will receive notification following completion of the curatorial review process prior to September 15, 2026. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so applicants may receive notification earlier. Additional information regarding exhibition logistics, contracts and payment schedules will be provided upon acceptance.

Accepted participants receive the official designation Official 2026 photoMIAMI® Exhibition Photographer, recognizing their participation in a professionally curated photography exhibition presented during Miami Art Week™. This professional designation may be referenced in biographies, CVs, résumés, exhibition histories and marketing materials.

The in-person exhibition takes place during Miami Art Week™. Accepted exhibitors also receive ongoing exposure through the ARTWEEK™ platform, Exhibitor Directory and related promotional initiatives extending beyond the exhibition dates.

Yes. A non-refundable application fee is required when submitting your application.

No. Exhibition participation fees are invoiced only after your application has been accepted. Participation fees may be paid in one, two or three installments.
